Attend A Board Meeting
River Market owners can attend monthly Board of Directors Meetings in person. These meetings are held in the St. Croix Suite, upstairs from the store in the same building as River Market Community Co-op. Our board meetings are held the Meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday evening of each month.. The first 20 minutes of board meetings are open for comments and feedback from owners – we welcome input and engagement with your Board of Directors.
Owners may also submit items to be included for discussion at a board meeting. With advance notice, your input may be added as an agenda item for future board consideration, provided it is relevant to the board’s work. Please submit your item by the first weekday of the month in which you request the board’s consideration to board@rivermarket.coop.

Annual Meeting: Where Food, Fun and Financials Mix
This is the primary opportunity for owners to link with other shareholders, hear directly from board and management, and give input on co-op issues. River Market Community Co-op traditionally holds the Annual Ownership Meeting the 2nd Saturday of October.
While this event includes a business portion (board election results and annual financial summary) the mood is intended to be festive and joyous – celebrating success in a precious shared resource – our co-op!
The annual meeting is also the time of year where board members complete and start their terms. Candidates interested in running for the board apply by July 31st and the election takes place the few weeks leading up to the annual meeting.
