Attend A Board Meeting (and take in some local history too!)
Beginning Tuesday, September 13th, River Market owners can attend monthly Board of Directors Meetings in person. These meetings are held in the Education Center room at the Washington County Heritage Center, 1862 Greeley St South, Stillwater. Our board meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month beginning at 6:00pm. The first 20 minutes of board meetings are open for comments and feedback from owners – we welcome input and engagement with your Board of Directors.
Owners may also submit items to be included for discussion at a board meeting. With advance notice, your input may be added as an agenda item for future board consideration, provided it is relevant to the board’s work. Please submit your item by the first weekday of the month in which you request the board’s consideration.
River Market owners who attend the board meetings are also eligible to access the three large gallery spaces featuring the topics of 1860s-1960s Fashion, Photographer John Runk, and the “From the Woods to the World” Lumber Exhibit. This additional benefit is free of charge – you may tour the exhibits before the meetings.
Board meetings are also held virtually via ZOOM. If you would like to attend the next Board of Directors Zoom meeting, please email the Board Admin at email@example.com.
The Washington County Historical Society serves as a historical umbrella for the county’s history organizations and acts as a community resource for individuals and organizations seeking historical information. The Society investigates and publishes county history, collects and preserves cultural artifacts and documents for future generations, and showcases county history through exhibits and displays throughout the county.
